Back in 2018, I had the desire to start my own business. The name came in an instant, Health Secret. Why? Because I am constantly on a journey to discover the secret to a healthier and happier life, and it is my aspiration to include you in my journey. Health Secret Home of Wellness (HSHW) is a Holistic Lifestyle Boutique, based in Curaçao. We are devoted to the promotion of community wellness.
My name is Sourette (Suzy) Sluis, born and raised in Curaçao, the creator of Health Secret Home of Wellness. HSHW aims to help you maintain a healthy mind and body by cultivating a sense of wellness in your entire home.
Initially, I started selling organic detox teas, which became very popular. After operating successfully for some time, I had the need for more. The COVID period served as a moment to look within and helped me find the missing piece of my puzzle. I had an epiphany and that is when I finally discovered what is next…

For years I have been struggling to find the perfect skincare products due to my own skin allergies. In 2020 I started creating my own skincare products, with the perfect blend of high-quality natural ingredients, like shea butter, cocoa butter, matcha green tea powder, turmeric powder, orange peel powder, herbs like dried or fresh peppermint, and eucalyptus just to name a few. Our products are made in Curaçao by “yu di Kòrsou and aim to nourish your skin, without causing any allergic reaction. The process was not easy, but I am so glad I held my vision. Time, money, knowledge, and energy were invested in finding the perfect balance to create that luxurious feeling I sought. Our skin deserved to feel nourished all day, not just for a moment.
That was the beautiful moment Rose A’dore Skincare was born. Rose stands for love, beauty, and courage; Rose is also part of my middle name. A’dore means something you are devoted to or care for, which in this case represents my devotion to helping you take good care of your skin. It takes courage to adjust our lifestyle for the better and that is how we came up with this beautiful name. We offer homemade skincare products, to nourish and heal the body, mind, and soul. Simply said, we offer Caribbean’s Premium & Finest Care Products”, which are created with you in mind and suit our hot and dry climate perfectly.
We did not stop there, we expanded our line by including hair care products as well, and recently, on our 5th anniversary, we launched our holistic candles.
